| G600/GAD 43e interfaced to the King KN-63 DME with Parallel Tuning | 2/6/2013 | 1306 Rev A | This Bulletin is Mandatory if you have the GAD43e and KN-63. G600/GAD 43e installations which interface to a Bendix/King KN-63 DME using parallel tuning (2X5, BCD, or SLIP formats) can cause the GAD 43e functions to become unresponsive. All GAD 43e functions utilized in the aircraft are affected by an unresponsive GAD 43e. However, gyro emulation functions (i.e the original GAD 43 functions) are not affected by this issue. Functions affected by an unresponsive GAD 43e may include (if interfaced through the GAD 43e to the G600 system): DME distance display, Autopilot altitude preselect, Autopilot vertical speed control, Radar altimeter display, Analog VOR/localizer and glideslope display, ADF bearing display, Marker Beacon display |
